Come every September, I have a strange sadness that comes over me. Maybe it's the changing of seasons, nostalgic feelings of back to school, the coolness of weather? I've never been able to put my finger on it but I can never escape it.
Autumn has been my favourite season for a long time. I feel the most inspired during the fall and I think that's why I look forward to it so much. The changing colours and the cool evenings creates a mood that I just enjoy so much. My taste buds even change and begin to desire anything and everything involving cinnamon and I begin to crave all types of comfort food. And of course you can count me in on anything pumpkin related.
Apart from the melancholy that finds me every September, it quickly fades away when the leaves start to change and I have a new season to look forward to. "Wake me up when September ends" is a lyric I can seriously relate to each year. Well, September has ended and I was able to capture a few photos of the new season. The colours fall brings are truly captivating.
